White Chocolate is Not the Phone for Me

I've officially gone through five of the white chocolate phones! I don't know what is wrong with me because I seriously don't think I have done anything wrong to break or damage the phone. My mom and both my sisters all have chocolates and they are still content with their first ones. You would think after having this many problems with the same phone, they would allow you to switch, but no...I have to just keeping getting replacements. But for now I'm phoneless, and it pretty much feels like I'm missing my hand... dang white chocolates...

What happened in Vegas isn't gonna stay in Vegas!

My Christmas present for this year was to go with two friends and their moms to Sin City to take a mini vaca and see the beloved Spice Girls. We only stayed on the strip, so it was pretty mild with all the prostitute flyers and what not that everyone warned me about beforehand. And I can honestly come back with a clear conscience that I did not drink or gamble which I have heard was practically impossible in Vegas. I had a blast - it was even bigger and way cooler than I thought. All the buildings and lights and decorations were amazing, and with it being Christmas they were even more so. We went to all the big hotels everyday and went to see two shows apart from the concert.

The first show we went to on Friday night was at Excalibur and it was called the Knights of the Round Table where you had dinner and a show. All the people that went were seperated into groups that were for a European country and you had a knight that represented you in jousting in and other activities. We were in France, and of course our guy was the hottest by far, so Tia, Hannah, and I made it a point to cheer extra loud.

The second show we went to was the Cirque de Soleil show called Mystere. It was pretty much the coolest thing I think I've ever seen. They did all sorts of acrobatic tricks and dances that seemed physically impossible for a human being to do.

Here's some pictures of Treasure Island, the hotel we stayed at. I pretty much felt like royalty staying in such a nice hotel. Everything in it looked so expensive and decorated. I took as many of the mini shampoos and conditioners as I could get away with-they were so cute!

This of course was the Mirage, just one of the grand buildings that lined the strip. This is one of the hotels Ocean's Eleven robbed from! I actually stood at the place where Brad Pitt stood when he was on the cellphone in the casinos at the Bellagio - it was amazing!

Just one of the many fountains that were everywhere on our walk down the strip!

Did I mention I chilled with Andre Agassi?

And Simon...We have decided that you are by far the worst singer our ears have ever been so unlucky to come in contact with.

...and The Rock, trust me, he really IS built that amazing!

...and Abe, just pondering that whole slavery and Civil War issue...

There was so much else to take pictures of in our travels down the strip, these are just a few.

The Beginning

I've been persuaded by my older and possibly wiser sister to join the wonderful world of blogging and give everyone an insight into my fantastic life. I'm pretty much a normal seventeen year old girl with a job at the movie theatre, tons of unnecessary homework but will hopefully get me where I want to go, four best friends, and the best family anyone could ask for (yes, family, that's what I said). I love playing tennis and hanging out with my friends- we're always trying to think up crazy things to keep us entertained in our tiny town. You'll most likely be hearing more about those later. Here's some pictures to start my blog off with...
This is our 2005 family Christmas picture. I'm in my prom dress because prom was the night before and I wore it to church. My mom and dad are behind me, then my sister Erin and brother Zach in front of her, then my sister Cori and her husband, Eric, my favorite brother-in-law, holding Quintin, my nephew.

Lauren and I all dressed up for winter formal that was two weeks ago.

Me, Lauren, and Kelli, dressed up for Halloween. We're Black Eyed Peas if you couldn't tell...some people had a hard time with it...

Me and my awesome doubles partner Taylor, accepting the bracket and first place medals for the 2007 State Tennis Championships. We had tons of fun together and had an amazing season, taking 2nd at Regonals, and having an overall all record of 15-3.
Me, Kelli, Chelsea, Lauren, and Darcee - the fab five - at this year's Young Women's culminating event.
