The Way to Ask
I decided to go with the shirt option to ask AJ to prom. Thanks for your suggestions! Mom will give it to his mom on Wednesday - his birthday. Here's the finished product...

The Wave
So this past week, my skin went crazy and I was freaking out a little. I saw this commercial on TV with Vanessa Hudgens a.k.a. Gabrielle on High School Musical, advertising this cool, new, little, battery-operated, facial cleansing thing. I had to have it! If it's good enough for Vanessa it's good enough for me! So my very loving, patient mother took me to Wal-Mart yesterday and I got "The Wave." I went through about three different pads as soon as we got home and it was AMAZING! My face feels so soft! I totally recommend it, if you are ever in the same position I was in...Tuesday, March 11, 2008

Oh and by the way...
Yes, Erin, I think I can forgive you with driving your car AND some extensive Dance, Dance Revolutioning.
Being Sick...
I hate being sick. I stayed home from school all day and slept and now I'm wide awake. I have nothing interesting to say or blog about though.

The Date Issue
Well, since Erin so tactlessly pointed out that I do not, in fact, have a date to prom yet - I decided to ask a sophomore. AJ from my ward is going to be turning 16 on the 19th, so I thought it would be fun to go with him, here are some of the better ideas I found to ask him, what do you think?:
Fatal Attraction
Draw a chalk outline of yourself outside the person's house. Then leave a note with your name and all of the information on it that says, "I'd die to go to prom with you."
Get a plain white t-shirt. It can be any material you choose. Write your name on it in permanent marker. Write the names of about 30 other girls/boys (same gender as you) in washable marker, but make sure that the marker comes out in the wash. Write a note that says to wash the shirt to find out who asked him/her to prom, so that when he/she washes it only your name will be left. (Specify that they shouldn't wash the shirt with other clothes.) Tell them that if the answer is yes, they should wear the shirt the next day. Wrap it up and leave it on his/her doorstep, or mail it.

My Acting Debut
I went to the first practice of Beauty and the Beast and I discovered what my five lines were. I've already got them memorized! Here they are:
"Bonjour!"
"Never part of any crowd." - singing I might add
"Good day!"
"Those fish..."
"They smell!"
I'm positive that I will master the part. I think it's going to be really fun learning all the dancing rountines and can't wait to do more!
